From linear perspective and the camera obscura to today's AR and VR, technology has continually expanded the vantage points and quadrants through which we view the world. Meanwhile, the world we once constructed through sight, hearing, and the other senses is taking on a new face as digitization intensifies: a world formed by vast micro-sensing computation and data modulation—a world beyond the touch of the bodily senses, an unfelt world, an invisible scape.

Within the conceptual framework of scape.unseen, the artist transposes information technology and data monitoring into a series of works spanning spatial installation, sculpture, sound, program data, and real-time generated imagery, constructing relations between environment and technology at scales from the microscopic to the macroscopic. With the aid of technological prostheses, the works offer "reference points" for seeing amid the layered acceleration of contemporary information.

scape.unseen-co2[ch.] monitors the carbon-dioxide concentration of the exhibition space and translates the data into a real-time generative audiovisual installation. Its data-processing sequence is unfolded like an exploded-view diagram and presented as sliced specimens—sensor → microprocessor → computer → program → image → sound—each layer offering a different facet from which to view and explore the relations among the work, the environment, and the human.

How are we to face the invisible? How do we read the connections that data and signals generate, and the meanings they compose? And what kind of world do they represent?

從透視法、暗箱，發展到現今的AR、VR，科技持續在拓展人類觀看世界的視角與象限，而原本我們透過視覺、聽覺等感知所建構的世界，在數位化加劇推進的情況下，產生了新的面貌：由巨量微感測運算與數據調控所形成的世界–一個身體感官所無法觸及（無所感）的世界，一個不可見的景(scape)。

在scape.unseen概念脈絡下，藝術家進行一系列透過對於資訊科技、資料數據監測的轉譯，以微觀至宏觀的尺度，在空間裝置、雕塑、聲音、程式數據和即時生成影像之間建構出環境與科技的關係，並在科技輔具的協助下，提供我們在當代加速度層層堆疊的資訊中，找尋觀看的「參考點」。

scape.unseen-co2[ch.]進行了對展場空間的二氧化碳濃度偵測，轉譯為即時生成的聲音和影像裝置，將數據處理過程，如爆炸圖展開，以切片標本的方式呈現，從感測器>微處理晶片>電腦>程式>視覺>聲音的層層過程，提供從不同的面相，觀看和探索作品與環境、人的關係。

我們該如何面對這些不可見者？如何解讀數據與訊號所產生的連結關係與組成的意義？或是它所再現的是什麼樣的世界？
