Seen/Unseen-Entropy n°3

In the work, each of the two black mirrored structures contains an embedded Geiger–Müller tube and a screen. The Geiger–Müller tubes continuously detect the natural background radiation present in the exhibition space and transmit the particle data they capture in real time to a computer, driving an algorithmically generated digital particle system. As the radiation readings fluctuate, the particle imagery on the screens continually changes in density, speed, and movement.

The black mirrored surfaces both reflect the viewers and their surroundings and carry moving images generated by invisible particles, allowing physical bodies, the environment, and radiation data to overlap. Although natural background radiation appears silent and remains imperceptible, it continuously passes through both space and the human body. Through real-time computation, the work transforms this otherwise intangible energy into a visual flow that is constantly generated, dispersed, and reorganized. Each image is determined by the particle events occurring at that particular moment, forming a transient state that can never be precisely reproduced.

在作品中，兩座黑色鏡面裝置各自嵌入一支蓋革－穆勒管與一面螢幕。蓋革－穆勒管持續偵測展覽空間中的天然背景輻射，並將即時取得的粒子數據傳送至電腦，驅動演算法所生成的數位粒子系統。螢幕中的粒子影像隨著輻射數值的變化，不斷改變其數量、速度與運動狀態。

黑色鏡面一方面映照觀眾與周遭空間，另一方面也承載著由不可見粒子所生成的動態影像，使現實中的身體、環境與輻射數據彼此交疊。天然背景輻射看似寂靜且難以察覺，卻持續穿越空間與人體；作品透過即時運算，將這股無法直接感知的能量轉化為不斷生成、消散與重組的視覺流動。每一刻的影像皆由當下的粒子事件所決定，形成無法預先複製的短暫狀態。
